Life by design

Balance

In the realm of design, achieving balance hinges on the distribution of visual weight, whether along vertical or horizontal axes. Picture your design as a tangible, three-dimensional object—if its weight is evenly dispersed, it stands firm on its own. Designers wield elements like line, texture, color, and form to instill a sense of stability, with symmetry often serving as a cornerstone of order.

As I navigate the complexities of life, I often find myself inundated, racing through the day to evade disappointment. Yet, the incessant barrage of new demands creates a cacophony of distractions in my mind, overwhelming and disorienting. It's time to recalibrate my focus.

This morning, a startling realization dawned upon me: I haven't written a blog post since assuming my new role! And true to the essence of this blog's title, my life is indeed crafted by design. Work, once relegated to a place of routine and pattern, has somehow taken precedence on my list. My passion projects lie dormant, neglected, while my social calendar brims with commitments. But today marks a pivotal moment—I refuse to prioritize the dreams of others over my own happiness. Today, I commit to crafting a list of priorities and taking tangible steps towards change.
